Clinical Observership: Dr. A. A. Chamadiya Children Clinic
Afraa Asfaque completed a four-week pediatric clinical observership at Dr. A. A. Chamadiya Children Clinic from 15 June to 15 July 2025. Working under the supervision of a consulting pediatrician, she observed outpatient consultations, patient interviews, medical-record review, differential diagnosis discussions, laboratory and imaging interpretation, and day-to-day clinical decision-making. The placement gave the Gulf Medical University MD student sustained exposure to pediatric workflows, patient counselling, confidentiality, and evidence-based care, extending her learning beyond a single clinical visit.
