On 21 April 2025, Afraa took part in World Health Day 2025 at Gulf Medical University, staffing a blood pressure screening station with diabetes education materials on hand for everyone who stopped by. A photograph from the day shows the screening station with the blood pressure monitor, glucose meter, and education pamphlets in use.
The College of Medicine at Gulf Medical University awarded her a Certificate of Participation for World Health Day 2025, signed by Dr. Hesham Fathi Ahmed Marei, Vice Chancellor Academics.
